Breaking Down the Barrier Between Western Medicine & “Alternative” Medicine with Stacie Lampkin

Episode 21 - On this episode of The Awakened Feminine, we connect with Pharmacist, Aromatherapist, Board-Certified Patient Advocate and Healthcare Education Provider, Associate Professor Stacie Lampkin who is passionate about empowering people to take ownership of and redefine their own health.

Stacie graduated from pharmacy school in 2009 and found a career in academia. As an Associate Professor, she uses her knowledge as a Board-Certified pediatric Pharmacy Specialist and Aromatherapist to educate future healthcare professionals. In 2018, Stacie was diagnosed with cancer and experienced first-hand the difficulties of mainstream medicine.

Over a year filled with conventional treatments, surgeries, alternative therapies and recuperating, Stacie became cancer free. Her own journey inspired empathy for others and in 2019, became a Board-Certified Patient Advocate. Armed with education and resources, Stacie has made it her life’s mission to help people find their voice in the healthcare system. She empowers patients, parents, and caregivers to make their own choices when faced with the overwhelming struggles of a health issue. Stacie knows not every health journey or body is the same, but everyone should feel they have the knowledge and power to advocate for themselves or loved ones.
